“Steer Clear, He’s Ours” – Conte and Tottenham Hotspur Send Arsenal Transfer Warning Over Top Class Star

Tottenham Hotspur hope to sign Lille centre-back Sven Botman this summer to appease manager Antonio Conte, according to reports.

The Italian has found life in north London difficult since taking charge in November and recently appeared to criticise the club’s business during the January transfer window as he claimed his squad had been “weakened”.

But it has been claimed that in order to prove they are ready to back Conte in the transfer market, Spurs hope to bring in the left-footed, left-sided centre-half he has been demanding.

It comes following reports Arsenal are set to rival Spurs for the signing of River Plate midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

And Conte is facing a continued battle at the club after his work on the training ground proved successful in the win over Leeds United on Saturday.

Spurs will make efforts to land the signature of south-after Lille centre-back Sven Botman to keep Antonio Conte happy, it is reported.

Conte is reportedly keen to bring in a left-footed, left-sided centre-half and is said to view Botman as the perfect addition to his squad, according to the Daily Star.
