Hello and welcome to Friday’s live blog on all things Chelsea.

Thomas Tuchel is now well into his first summer transfer window as Blues boss as he looks to add to his squad ahead of next season.

Fikayo Tomori is the only major piece of business the club have done this summer so far, with the defender completing a permanent switch to AC Milan recently.

Erling Haaland continues to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, but with Jadon Sancho signing for Manchester United, this could have a huge impact on Borussia Dortmund’s stance.

We expect to hear plenty more on Haaland and other targets throughout the day.

Make sure you stay tuned for all the latest Chelsea-related news stories.

Moses exit confirmed

Although this deal went through several weeks ago, Chelsea have now officially confirmed that Victor Moses has joined Spartak Moscow on a permanent deal.

Spartak had the chance to sign him on a permanent basis if he impressed in Russia and he did just that, meaning he has now joined them permanently.

The Blues have thanked Moses for his service and wished him well for the future.

Tuchel keen on Calvert-Lewin

According to reports, Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has told Blues director Marina Granovskaia to add Dominic Calvert-Lewin to a list of options to strengthen his attacking ranks.

Signing a new striker is a top target for Tuchel this summer, with his main target being Erling Haaland.

However, he is willing to keep his list of options open and is ‘keen’ on the England international.

Hayes signs new contract

Chelsea Women manager Emma Hayes has signed a new contract with the club, the Blues have officially announced.

The length of the deal has not been disclosed but she is delighted to have got it sorted.

Everyone knows what this club means to me. The work we’ve done together over the last nine years has been hugely rewarding, full of growth of the women’s game, accompanied with winning, which is one of the club’s key values.

I really look forward to keep building on the successes we’ve already achieved and I’m delighted to have extended further.

It’s been a year and a half without fans, so I can’t wait to welcome them back to our home and share with them the wonderful team we’ve built together.

Gilmour exit confirmed

Chelsea have confirmed that midfielder Billy Gilmour has joined Norwich City on loan.

The Scotland international will spend the duration of the 2021/22 season on loan at Carrow Road.

Haaland likely to join Chelsea

According to Sport Bild’s Head of Football, Christian Falk, Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland is likely to join Chelsea, insisting the Blues have a ‘big chance’ of securing his signature.

The Blues are desperate to lay their hands on the Norway international and Falk believes the prospect of a deal is looking promising.

Blues in Hennessey talks

Chelsea head coach could be set to make his first signing in charge in the not too distant future – but it will come as a huge shock.

According to the Daily Express, the Blues are in talks with former Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

The Welshman is available on a free transfer after leaving Selhurst Park and could be snapped up by the Blues to become their new third choice shot-stopper.

Abramovich confident on Haaland

According to reports, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is ‘confident’ that the club can sign Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland this summer.

The Daily Express says that the Blues chief is optimistic that a deal can be done for the 20-year-old, despite him being valued at well over £100million.

Haaland is Chelsea’s top target this summer and Thomas Tuchel is desperate to strengthen his attacking options with the Leeds-born goal-getter.
