The Norwegian has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge throughout the summer and appears to be intrigued by rumours this summer.

Chelsea transfer target Erling Haaland has denied that he is worth £150million amid constant links with the Blues.

The Borussia Dortmund striker has been strongly linked with a big-money switch to Stamford Bridge throughout the summer, with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel reportedly determined to strengthen his forward line.

Following his fantastic form for German giants Dortmund since his arrival from Red Bull Salzburg, it is certainly no surprise that Haaland is one of Chelsea’s priority targets.

As it stands, the 21-year-old remains firmly the property of Dortmund despite a number of differing outlets speculating on his future and the various stages of a potential deal.

Now, it seems that Haaland himself has taken an interest in the latest rumours surrounding his signature.

As per Sky in Germany, at Dortmund’s pre-season training camp in Switzerland, the striker asked if there was any fresh news about him, to which the reporter replied that there wasn’t anything but his £150million valuation.

Haaland then gave a brilliant response by simply stating that “no, I’m not worth that”.

Despite the striker not believing he quite holds that valuation, that will surely not be taken into account by the clubs as they attempt to negotiate a fee.

Borussia Dortmund are understood to be keen on not selling the striker this summer, especially after letting wideman Jadon Sancho join Manchester United earlier this summer.

Whilst he has an extraordinarily high valuation this summer, it is speculated that Haaland’s release clause is set to drop to £75million next year, when he will have just two years remaining on his contract at the Westfalenstadion.
