It’s set to be an extremely busy summer for Blues boss Thomas Tuchel as the Blues aim to bolster their squad. Significant moves have been made already with two deals having been announced on Friday.
Elsewhere, Chelsea continue to be linked with a whole host of names throughout the Premier League and European football.
One of the players whose name is never far away from the corridors of Stamford Bridge is West Ham United’s Declan Rice. He continues to be linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge so we will do our best to keep you updated on any potential deal.
Meanwhile, Erling Haaland remains a constant talking point so of course there will also be updates on the Norwegian hitman.
Chelsea announce deal
We start with a few bits of news that you might have missed from yesterday with Chelsea confirming two deals.
Young midfielder Billy Gilmour joined Norwich City on-loan, whilst Luke McCormick followed him out the door by joining AFC Wimbledon on a permanent deal.
Manchester United are confident that they can reach an agreement over personal terms with Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, but know they face competition from Chelsea.
Varane is out-of-contract at the Bernabeu next summer and it is highly likely that he will leave the club this summer.
Tuchel eyes Hennessey signing
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly keen on making former Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey his first signing of the summer.
The Welshman is currently on the hunt for a new club after being let go by Palace and could be an ideal option for Chelsea to strengthen their goalkeeping department.
Tuchel is on the hunt for a new third choice shot-stopper following the exit of Willy Caballero.
