Varane update

Chelsea and Manchester United have been heavily linked with signing Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane this summer.

The Frenchman is likely to leave the Bernabeu within the coming weeks and months and both English clubs have been monitoring his situation.

Now, it has been revealed that he has a £40million-£45million valution.

Bayern want to keep Sule

Having been linked with a move to Chelsea quite often in recent months, Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule could now be signing a new deal with the German club.

They are keen to tie the centre-back down to a new deal, scuppering Thomas Tuchel’s hopes of landing him this summer.

It is reported that they hope to tie him down to a new deal until the summer of 2023.

Gilmour move to be announced

The big news coming out of Stamford Bridge in the past 12 hours surrounds Billy Gilmour.

According to The Athletic, the midfielder is likely to complete a season-long loan move to Norwich City next week.

Would this be a good move for the Scotland international?

Lukaku verdict

Romelu Lukaku has once again appeared to rule out a return to Chelsea this summer.

During a Q&A session on the social media platform yesterday, the Belgian had to deal with a request for him to grace the top flight of English football once again.

When asked by former Manchester City winger Trevor Sinclair if he fancied playing in Pep Guardiola’s side, Lukaku’s reply all-but confirmed his stance on leaving Inter this summer.

“I want to Stay at Inter”

Hakimi agreement

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain are set to make another bid of around €70million (£59m) plus add-ons to reach an agreement with the Serie A champions.

Furthermore, it’s understood that Hakimi has already agreed personal terms with Mauricio Pochettino’s side with a five-year contract just waiting to be signed at the Parc des Princes.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Morocco international, so this development is a major blow.

As such, the Spaniard has been linked with a number of high-profile clubs this summer, including Chelsea, who are in the market for a new centre-back this summer, despite extending Thiago Silva’s deal until the end of next season.
